Modified Schedule adjusted for distribution at the Syracuse Motorsport Expo.

 

 

Perry NY, a busy week leading up to a productive weekend of WCIS promotions, was all worth the lack of sleep & junk food. Two weekends ago, defending SST Modified Champion Daniel Majchrzak’s #14 Modified was still on the Tuff Toys jig getting reconditioned for the show season one weekend away.

But just like the efforts the crew made after the roll over at Lancaster in the SuperStock they call the ‘Honey Badger�.  The crew was up for the challenge.  

 

 

Transforming scattered parts (of the Modified chassis known as ‘Dirty Lisa’) into the open wheel race car for display at the Syracuse Motorsports Expo, was the first stage in the spring preparations.

 

 

 

 

Timmy Lewis Jr.’s #41 SST Mod was also on hand to enhance Wyo Co Int Speedway exposure. Team Lewis finished 2^nd in overall division points, decided on the last race at the 2016 ShootOut SST 100.

 

 

 

 

That brings us to the WCIS schedule change… attempting to be politically correct, for reasons beyond our current control, we have moved the dates of the AMERICAN Modified 100,  ‘ShootOut at the BullRing’, $10,000 to win year end spectacular! The NEW race weekend will be on Oct 14&15, 2017… one weekend past Super Dirt Week. This should make every Short Track race fan jump up and down for joy… The last big show of our region is now the most exciting climatic end to the 2 race AMERICAN Modified events at the BullRing!

A special thanks to everyone who helped out before and during the Syracuse weekend. Thank you for your patients at our booth, we were quite busy on Saturday with Monster Energy promotion preparations, VP & Sunoco race Fuel Discussions, ASI T-shirt designs, weekly division race teams and Modified race fans…

let’s not overlook those CAMS Classic Modifieds… Nice Bodine #99 Modified …
