Racer Reunion & LaVern Pangrazio Memorial Night

Saturday night was one to remember at Wyoming County International Speedway as fans, drivers, and officials came together for the annual Racer Reunion and a heartfelt tribute for LaVern Pangrazio Memorial, held this year within the competitive G-Dog Pro 4 division.
G-Dog Pro 4 – LaVern Pangrazio Memorial
The G-Dog Pro 4 division brought intensity and emotion to the track. Tommy Hughes of Akron, NY, powered his way from 6th to the front to capture the memorial victory. Eric Black (Springville, NY) and Russ Bulger Jr. (Buffalo, NY) completed the podium. Lucas Parrish (East Aurora, NY) , who moved up to join the G-Dog field, and scored another victory lane spot.
SST Modifieds
Dan Majchrzak of Perry, NY, put on a commanding performance, climbing three spots to take home the win in the SST Modified Feature. Bill Mislin (Buffalo, NY) and Joey Bevacqua (Rome, PA) rounded out the podium in a field of talent.
SST Super Stocks
Russ Bulger Jr. doubled down on success, winning the 25-lap Super Stock main event, followed by Geneva’s Derrick and Chris Vogler.
6 Cyl-Stock
John Parthemer (Hunt, NY) led the 6 Cyl-Stock field to victory, edging out Frank Parsons and Nichole Parthemer.
Vintage Race Cars
Adding to the night’s nostalgia, a field of Vintage Race Cars hit the track for a special showcase. Fans enjoyed a throwback to racing’s golden days, as past champions and classic machines brought history roaring back to life. The division received an extra boost thanks to a $600 purse donation from Sandmans Sandblasting and Coatings in Canandaigua, NY and Finish Line Powder coating in Leroy, NY. Top 3 drivers in each division also received a shirt from Finish Line Powder Coatings!
The night was filled with laughter, memories, and fast-paced action—exactly what the Racer Reunion is all about. Thank you to everyone who made the evening special, especially those who honored LaVern’s legacy by bringing their cars, stories, and support.
