The Mad Rush Is On...

The mad rush is on… as the weather attempts to get warmer, working race cars becomes a hot topic of conversation. Racing season is getting closer, and many are still thrashing to get finished up. Practice begins Saturday May 4th and continues May 11th and Wednesday May 15th. Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday May 18th, 2024.
“Meet the Drivers” Face to face trackside during the intermission on Opening Day! This has been a tradition for many years at the BullRing. Teams are encouraged to prepare racecar pictures and candy to give away to fans during the event. New Cars, new drivers and a new season to fight for a championship all begins on May 18th.
ROC, Race of Champions returns to the BullRing several times throughout the season bringing along the best cars of the region to entertain our fans. Perry has always been a fast short track facility… better yet, a Super Short Track. Three wide, 100mph and a great county setting. But the best thing about Wyoming County Speedway for some…. Is the Salt Potatoes! Mmmmm
Join us Saturday April 20th for the Awards & Registration Party. Everyone is invited and encouraged to support The Club at Silver Lake. Come out hungry and order food and drinks off the house menu. The Bar will be open, so belly up and laugh with your friends…. But not during the awards. This event is free… so again, support to the host is important.
Driver and crew registration for the 2024 season will begin at the party. Officials will be on hand to answer any questions and get rule clarifications. Concrete pad rentals are based on last season and first come, first serve for this season.
Awards will be limited due to the short 23’ season but the top 3 of each division Championship will receive trophies for their accomplishments. Please be prepared to thank your sponsors and family for the support last season.
